Rising to the challenge of childhood TB: Dr. Jennifer Furin, Case Western University

Dr. Jennifer Furin, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Case Western University, discusses the unique challenges of combating MDR-TB in children.  She talks about the Sentinel Project, which is a virtual network of providers who care about children who are infected with, affected by, and sick with drug-resistant tuberculosis.  Children are often left behind in efforts targeting increased diagnosis and treatment for drug-resistant tuberculosis.
